Given my druthers, I'd much rather sit through a hurricane than endure an earthquake or a twister. At least you can see a hurricane coming and make preparations for it. And the breeze it creates before it gets here is generally pretty nice as well. I'm not quite as fond of the other parts, but you learn to make the best of whatever you get handed, and in fairness we've been pretty lucky as things go.
On the flip side all the rain headed our way means I'll be inside the next couple days. Maybe I can make a dent in the rest of the stories that still have to be reviewed and edited. I really want to get done and get back to strictly writing. Editing sucks. :-P
