I like summer....

I really do.  I was born in summer; I was married in summer; and of course there were always family vacations that were taken during summer break.  But I've had about enough of the heat for a while. I would definitely welcome a cool down... even the relatively mild cool down that we get here.  On the plus side, at least we've had some nice breezes this summer.  There have been some years when we get nothing but doldrums, and the still air is like thick, hot soup.

The melting process caused by the heat has slowed Pink & Fluffy significantly, but it hasn't brought them to a complete halt.  Part 8 of Beautiful Mess is up.
