I like the Olympics - I enjoy getting to see so many sports that are not televised at any other time.  I wish there was a way to see more though... more sports as well as more of the countries that are represented.  As proud as I am of Team USA and hope that they all do well in their chosen events, I wouldn't mind watching some of the lesser known sports/athletes/countries that are participating.  Everyone worked hard to get to the games - seems like they could all get a little air time.  On the plus side, it's nice to have a break from the ongoing political rhetoric for a few minutes.

Meanwhile we're still plugging away at the site.  Brave New World is about half posted and the shorts are almost complete.  I'm also going to try to put up PDF versions for those of you who prefer to download the stories to a reader.  But it will be a little while longer on that.  I'd like to finish the corrections first.

Part 5 of Beautiful Mess is now available.

Most of the shorts are now posted - I think there are only a half dozen left and one of those needs a bit of rewriting.  Mac has already finished Brave New World so I'll start going through and posting that one as quickly as possible.

Still working on Part 4 of Favors of Fortune, though it has slowed down greatly while we edit everything else.  Slow doesn't mean complete halt, however - Part 4 of Beautiful Mess is now available.

Work on the website continues slowly - we'll get there... it's just going to take a little while.  I didn't realize that so many of my short stories had quite so many pages or that it would take so long to go through them word by word.  We're not going to even talk about the novels. <g> However,  Part 3 of Beautiful Mess is up.

I've gotta say - I am totally loving the new website.  It's so much easier to manage than the other one was, and it's nice not to have to steal back the MacBook just to interface things so I can access the site.  And I love the neatness and uniformity of the pages. Hopefully ya'll will find it easier to navigate as well.

I've been tinkering all week and have added a few more stories.  The shorts are going up first - for obvious reasons - but we're working on the novels too.  Valiant will probably be the last thing to go up - it seems to need the most work.

Meanwhile, Part 2 of Beautiful Mess has been added.  Time for me to get back to work! :-)

We've started going through all the old stories - and my God... aren't there a lot of them - editing them and making corrections as we find them.  But it is very slow going because every word and every punctuation mark has to be looked at carefully... and let's face it, a lot of it isn't what a publisher would call short.  (I know this because Phil looked it up for me.  I was trying to figure out what was considered short.  In my case, that is apparently a disclaimer. :-P)  However, we are working on it, and will be adding stories as they make it through the process.

In the meantime, I did promise to start posting Beautiful Mess, so part 1 is up.  This is going to be another lengthy story (gasp!).  It will probably be part 4 of a five part trilogy - since Favors of Fortune was only supposed to be a trilogy to begin with - just so it doesn't become another never-ending tale like Guardian Angel was.  It will be more like Valiant.

Not sure yet how often I will be updating yet.  It may be weekly; it may be every other Sunday like it has been.  It will be fairly regularly, though.  But we'll have to see how it goes because editing just sucks the writing drive right out of a person.  Pink&Fluffy are not amused.  Hopefully, I won't be paying for this editing folly for years to come. <g>
