For those of you reading, Part 7 of Caught in the Storm is posted.
Caught in the Storm isn't writing as fast as I would like, but it is still writing. I have an idea for a series of related vignettes that I may try to work on in between to see if they can help break up this slow clog I've got going on at the moment. If I do it right, it should make up a complete story by the time I'm done. :-) Ideas are easy - it's the execution that can sometimes be an issue.
For those of you reading, Part 7 of Caught in the Storm is posted. So here is where the story takes its first radical turn - I say first because I expect it will happen again.. probably more than once with my luck. None of what happens in the next few updates was my idea. Seriously... I was not prepared for nor expecting any of what got written. I had no plans to go anywhere with those particular characters, but I learned a long time ago not to ignore the story I am given. Hopefully I'll be back on track with the story I expected to tell soon... but I'm not holding my breath.
Meanwhile, Part 6 of Caught in the Storm is up. Because the weather here has been beautiful - just perfect. And I've been working on refinishing my daughter's dresser. I have to take advantage of the really good days because temperature and humidity interfere with how paints and stains and polyurethane dry, and I'd prefer not to have to do things over and over. Sanding is murder on my hands... even with an electric sander.
Anyway, that put everything else behind, and the update slipped my mind until now. However, better late than never, right? :-) So Part 5 of Caught in the Storm is finally up. |
