and it would be 2018. My only saving grace is I live on the West Coast, so we're not quite there yet... but only by the skin of my teeth! However, the next chapter of Caught in the Storm is up. We're slowly getting to the end, but we do have a few more chapters to go. Fingers crossed that I can write quickly and steadily and still give this story the ending it deserves. I would love to be done before June, which is my 30th wedding anniversary. :-)
Meanwhile, I hope each of you will have a safe and uneventful night, and a peaceful and blessed 2018! Happy New Year, Ya'll!!
but incredibly early. I figured I would go ahead and take care of this now since I'm up, instead of trying to cram it into my day tomorrow as I will be gone most of the day. We are going to see Handel's Messiah (a bucket list item for me), and then the company Christmas party is tomorrow night. Thankfully, things should slow down to something resembling normal after that. :-)
Meanwhile, Chapter 69 is up.
are liable to be late like today's is. With the holidays, I suddenly find myself with a full social calendar - which is a little surprising, to be honest. Concert today, concert next week; two Christmas parties; two meals out with friends, and those are just the things I remember off the top of my Pink & Fluffy head. I am still writing in between, though, so I'm happy. :-)
Next chapter (68, I think) is posted, and I do have another close to finished, so I should be here next week - either really, really early or very, very late. Ya'll stay warm and be safe!
closer to the end. Still got a little way to go, but we're getting there slowly. :-)
because insomnia is a fabulous thing... NOT. But it allowed me to get this posted early, and gave me a chance to work on the next chapter as well. So there should be another update next Sunday.
... another chapter posted. That makes me happy. Still pushing forward, but there may not be an update next week. The girl I beta for has finished a story, and I promised to get it back to her ASAP for posting. So it depends on how my week goes. Keep your fingers crossed for me - I really do prefer to update regularly. It means I'm having a good week. :-)
due to internet issues, but added another chapter - and started a new part (8) - to Caught in the Storm. Not done, but I can actually feel the end getting closer. Depends on what kind of an ending the characters decide to give me. Guess we'll see.
but the Academy posted early, so I did as well. The new Halloween story is yet another piece to the multi-fandom that is coming as soon as I am finished writing Caught in the Storm. It promises to be quite the thing... assuming I ever actually get to write it.
Happy Halloween, ya'll, and check out some of the other offerings for this year's Invitational. :-)
to those of you who responded to my question a couple weeks ago. You answered a couple things I had been curious about, and I appreciate the time you took to share with me.
No update today. My Halloween story Skin Walkers will be posted Tuesday. With luck, I hope to resume updates of Caught in the Storm next Sunday.
I am working on the Halloween story at the moment, and it's going a little slower than I'd hoped. Partly, I think, because I'd never heard this legend before, and partly because the days are getting shorter and I thrive on sunlight. I never realized how much until I moved across the country and lost the perpetual summer I had always known and discovered this phenomenon called SEASONS. Who knew that was a real thing??
Anyway, I have a question for ya'll - a variation of one that Phil asked me once. She asked me for my pick for the top 6 novels, short stories and fanfics that I've written. I'm just asking for one - what is your favorite story of mine and why? Feel free to pick one from each of the categories if you're so inclined. I'm just curious... about your answers and if anyone will actually respond. :-)
Ya'll have a good week!
